Zeppelin flight training

Be a Zeppelin captain for once.

You love and live the dream of flying? The Zeppelin NT will boost this wonderful feeling in you! There are only 19 pilots worldwide who have been trained for flying a Zeppelin NT. There are only two Zeppelin NT airships in the world – one in Friedrichshafen and one in San Francisco. And now you are able to have your own flying experience with the Zeppelin NT.

Take the controls! During the flight training of the Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei, experienced Zeppelin flight trainers teach you for two days within a training program the special characteristics of this unique airship and then hand over the controls to you. The training is based on the Airship Flight Manual (AFM). It is conducted In a group of 4 to 6 participants. Apart from a selection of theoretical lectures, you will also learn more about the work of the ground crew. During a shared training flight, every participant will take over the controls in the cockpit for 30 minutes under supervision of a certified Zeppelin flight trainer. While on board, another flight trainer will address other topics about the Zeppelin NT. Depending on the number of participants, the total practical training time during the flight amounts to 2 or 3 hours.
