Special Missions
The long flight duration of up to 24 hours and the unique flight characteristics allow fields of application that can neither be accomplished by a fixed-wing aircraft nor by a helicopter.
The Zeppelin NT is an ideal research and mission platform. The roomy and very flexible cabin has enough space for a flying laboratory. Data obtained by environmental monitoring, tropospheric research or the exploration of natural resources can be evaluated on the spot.
Due to the all-round visibility from above, the Zeppelin NT also becomes an interesting monitoring platform. Therefore, it can be used for example as a platform for a relay station or a telematic system or as an operation centre for events, rescue or surveillance missions.
The Zeppelin NT could demonstrate already its distinctive characteristics in different special missions.
